This customized 3D charm, is created using a new patented technology which takes a photo or digital photo file to create a unique 3D pendant out of silver, white gold or yellow gold. Images of children, parents, grandparents, family friends, pets and more can be used in this technology. Just send us your photo and we will create an image of your precious one out of precious metal!
How these are made: First, the photograph or digital photo image is used by an image rendering program to create a 3D image file. Then a state of the art milling machine uses this image file to create a 3D wax model, which will be used in the casting process. The finished piece is handcrafted into a wearable pendant that is as unique as your loved one!
Various images can be used
- The digital image files must be a minimum of 600dpi for this technology to be used to its potential. The image meant to be converted to a charm should have no obstructions covering it unless it is meant to be included in the charm. (i.e. hands/arms across face, food on face etc.)
- A traditional printed photo can be used; you will be required to mail it to us. We can scan a photograph up to 8"x10", photos smaller than 3"x5" may lose detail as the image is enlarged. Photos larger than 8"x10" may be used, but will require additional time to process.
Color photographs are preferred, but black and white photographs or image files can also be used. All photos or images submitted must be authorized for use (not be copyrighted). No images of nudity, partial nudity or deemed inappropriate will be used. The photos will be ultimately authorized by paulbensel.com before being used in this process.
